Marketing Tool for Small Business and Freelance

category

Basic entities

Corymbus, as a marketing tool for small business and freelance, is organized around the following 4 basic entities: contact (as for sales), group, campaign, interaction. A contact is someone you want to interact with as part of your marketing. Groups are used to define a set of contacts with which you want to communicate. A campaign is an email that you will send to the contacts of one or more groups. Interactions are marketing communication events that allow you to track the effectiveness of your marketing in real time or in aggregate.

email

Campaigns

A campaign is an email that you send to all the contacts in one or more groups. You can define the HTML content of this email and its title, with customizable elements, for example by inserting the first name or modifying the content in a specific way according to the information of each recipient. After sending, the campaign shows you the statistics on its performance: number of people targeted, number of email openings, number of clicks etc.

No extra cost

Since Corymbus uses the Email account you indicate, there is no additional cost to be expected for sending your campaigns, unlike emailing platforms on the market.

Workflows

Corymbus CRM Workflows allow you to automate the relationship with your prospects and customers. Graphically define a sequence of actions, then execute it either on demand (e.g. updating the target of a campaign before sending), or periodically (e.g. sending birthday emails to your contacts, or alerts for the expiration of an annual subscription), or when an event occurs (e.g. launch of a nurturing program, sending a series of emails to a contact on D+1, D+3, D+7 etc., from the moment he subscribes to your newsletter). Automatons also allow you to calculate maturity scores for each of your prospects, to help you manage priorities in your prospecting.

group

Groups

Groups are used to define a set of contacts with which you want to communicate. For example, you can create a group for executives, a group for carpenters, or another for existing customers (as opposed to prospects), to send them specific communications. You can also use powerful filtering functions, to target contacts based on their reactions to your previous campaigns (opens, clicks, …)

Interactions

Interactions are marketing communication events: sending an email, opening an email, clicking a link in the email, unsubscribing a recipient. Interactions are accessible in real time and in an integrated way with Corymbus. You can view them on a unitary basis, for example to check if a given contact has clicked on a link in your email, or on an aggregated basis via campaign statistics, in order to evaluate their effectiveness.

cloud

Email Account

Unlike other CRMs or marketing campaign management platforms, Corymbus uses the email account of your choice to send campaigns. This can be a Google account, or more generally an SMTP account. The advantage of this approach is that the reputation of your mailings is not likely to be impacted by the sendings of other users, which is a fundamental element so that your campaigns do not arrive in spam. It is not suitable for advertisers who send millions of emails a day, but it is quite suitable for SMEs, VSEs or independents whose campaigns are much more restricted in frequency and volume.

web

Web Forms

With Corymbus you can create your own web forms and embed them into your website. This lets you gather visitors input and store this information, such as new contacts, directly in the CRM. When a web form is submitted, Corymbus can send the visitor an individual campaign email (eg to send a link to a white paper), and also notify you as a user, so that you can contact this new lead immediately, show responsiveness, and engage a sales process.
