The Corymbus CRM filters are enriched with new possibilities for date/time fields: you can now search for activities, opportunities, etc. with a date (e.g. closing date for an opportunity) this year, the previous year or next year. The same goes for the current/next/upcoming quarter, and for the months. It was already possible to specify start and end dates to define an interval of a year, a quarter or a month, however this new approach has several advantages:
- Time saving: only one criterion is required instead of two. For example, it is enough to say that the closing date is this year, rather than saying that it is after 1/1/2020 and before 31/12/2020 (which requires defining two criteria).
- Durability: if you save the filter, for example to list the opportunities of the current quarter, it will remain valid indefinitely, while a filter with “hard” dates (e.g. 1/1/2020 to 31/3/2020) should be updated with each change of quarter to remain relevant.
It is still possible to use “hard” dates, for example to display the list of all the appointments of the first quarter of 2020, or all the opportunities of the year 2020.
These new criteria are applicable to both Corymbus’ predefined date/time fields and custom date fields defined on your different entities.
